    Geek eyeglass repair

    My Geek eyeglasses have been 'out of commission' for probably a year-BOTH 'sticks' (stems?) had broken off...…. The shop where I had purchased them, OPTICAL OUTLET in Pittsburgh, which I LOVED, has changed ownership, and the new owners are not nearly as accommodating as the long-time owners/staff. I was tickled to find out with a random search that GEEK does repairs. $50 seems pretty reasonable. They are back to new, essentially. As happy as I am with the repair (with pretty quick turn-around--less than 2 weeks)….I still think it's odd that not just one, but BOTH stems broke...…… SO...….I do have ONE GOOD SUGGESTION. JUST IN CASE, the stems on the repaired pair go kaphlooey, and break again, I think it would be a customer-fair/friendly policy to make the repair for, say, half the price...…(because, to me, it suggests, a flaw in the glasses)……. BUT I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW AND IMPROVED EYEGLASSES!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

    This is an AMAZING service. I have a very old pair of Geeks. I LOVE THEM!!! The temple hinge broke. I could not anyone local who would fix them. Geek did it perfectly.
